Nürburgring Nordschleife 5th and 6th september 2009

We planned this as a revival of our meeting in september 2005. Hans-Martin, Maarten and I met at the Sunpark Eifel (former Center Parc Heilbachsee) on saturday and first, we played a little with T7 suite and reflashed my ECU. Then we drove to the Ring, watched a few nice cars and had one lap on the Ring before the track closed because of accidents. Then we went back to the parc and had a nice barbecue.

On sunday moring, we went to the Ring quite early and met Kai there. Four more dutch Saab fans also joined us. I had eight laps this day, seven with my Viggen and one as the passenger of Hans-Martins Saab 9-3 Aero Hirsch Performance Sport Sedan. Hans-Martin had to leave us in the late afternoon, the rest of us went to the museum at the new ringwerk, which has a few quite nice attractions.

I can only repeat what I wrote four years ago: It was a great time with nice people and stunning cars ... and the weather was not too bad, either. I'm looking foward to our next meeting!
